Sager Nuns Science Leadership Program 2026

The Library of Tibetan Works & Archives, in collaboration with the Science for Monks and Nuns Foundation, organized the Sager Nuns Science Leadership Program for its second cohort from March 11th to 31st at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarah, Dharamshala.
Over the past three weeks, Lori Lambertson, Hilleary Osheroff, and Curt Gabrielson from the Exploratorium in San Francisco, California, taught 33 nuns from five different nunneries across India about respiration, women’s health, climate change, scaling, the carbon cycle, immunology, electricity, and magnetism.
