Institute XVII- 4th Cohort Leadership Program (5-20 January, 2023)

The 15day leadership programme for the fourth cohort was held at the Sarnath International Nyingma Institute (SINI) in Varanasi. The participants had classes in neuroscience, science writing, and Tibetan writing. Additionally, they had a designated time for "project time," during which monks and nuns will have the opportunity to plan and complete their impending projects while speaking with the concerned teachers about their concerns.(more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at Petoen School (21 October, 2022)

On October 21, the exhibition was exhibited at Petoen School. The students from grades 6th to 10th attended the exhibition with their teachers. (more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at TCV Gopalpur (17-18 October, 2022)

From October 17th to October 18th, a 2-day exhibition was held at TCV Gopalpur. Approximately 300 children above 6th grade with their teachers attended the display in full force. The two-day session came to an end with a group discussion with children in grades 8 through 10.(more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at Tsuklakhang, Dharamshala (11-15 October, 2022)

From October 11 to October 15, a five-day exhibition titled "Secrets of Particles" was on display in His Holiness the Dalai Lama's main temple, Tsuklakhang. His Eminence Thromthok Rinpoche, abbot of the Namgyal Monastery, and Geshe Lhakdor la, director of LTWA, kindly unveiled the exhibition on October 11 at the Dalai Lama's main temple. (more..)

Institute III- Autumn Meeting (17 September -7 October, 2022)

From September 17th to October 7th, the staff of the Science Department of LTWA conducted the classes. The morning and afternoon sessions were guided by the staff of the LTWA Science department. The morning session primarily focused on related biological themes, such as; Cells and its organelles, body system and micro-organisms. And in the afternoon, they discussed astronomy, the origin of stars and the solar system.(more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at Lamdon School, Leh (16-17 August, 2022)

The exhibition “Secrets of Particles” was on display at Lamdon School on August 16th and 17th, with over 1000 students in attendance. The level of acceptance and response we received for the exhibition’s content was both gratifying and encouraging.(more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at Ladakh Public School (11 August, 2022)

On 11th August, around 200 secondary school students attended the exhibition with great enthusiasm and curiosity. The majority of them had numerous queries and questions. They were astounded to learn about the particles from both a Buddhist and a scientific standpoint.(more..)

Exhibition on “Secrets of Particles” at TCV School Ladakh (5 August 2022)

On 3rd and 4th August, the exhibition was on display at TCV Ladakh. The students from grades 6 to 10 delightfully attended with their teachers. On the second day, members of the Tibet Women's Association also participated in the exhibition.(more..)

Exhibition on “ Secrets of Particles” at Thiksey Library and Learning Centre, Ladakh (25 July 2022)

On July 25th, H.H. the Dalai Lama consecrated the newly constructed Thiksey Library and Learning Centre. We seized the ideal opportunity to display our exhibitions with the goal of benefiting the crowds who had arrived to receive blessings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The exhibition attracted hundreds of inquisitive students from various schools and laypeople from different work groups.(more..)
